  • About: Dining, shopping, and wall-to-wall tourists.  Home of the Kodak Theater, where American Idol & the Oscars are held.  Adjacent to Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, Disney’s El Captian Theater, and Jimmy Kimmel Live.  

Warner Bros. VIP Studio Tour

  • Cost: $45 per person.  No children under age 8 allowed.  Tour sells out – get tickets early.  Adults must bring Photo ID.
  • About: Authentic behind the scenes tour of the world’s busiest TV & film studio.  Current museum exhibit celebrates the 50th anniversary of television. 

 Old Town Pasadena

  • Cost: Many inexpensive ($5-7) parking lots available.  City lots are free for first 90 minutes.
  • About:  Many blocks of shopping, dining, and nightlife along Colorado Boulevard.  Home of the Rose Bowl.  Rich in history and architecture.

 Griffith Observatory

  • Cost: Access to the Observatory no longer requires a reservation and (limited) parking on site is now allowed.  Free admission to observatory for all ages; some attractions have a small fee.
  • About: Daily programs, planetarium (additional ticket purchase required), and café.
